Hey guys , the Englishman is around again

After winter the cabrio's engine had frozen and so i was going to sell the car , but after a bit of thinking , i bought myself a 2.0l mondeo from Germany so te conversion begins

within one morning the motor was out , now i want to swap all the little bits over , new cambelt,waterpump and paint it , need to find an Alloy inlet manifold and wiring loom , so that i can fit the 2.0l throttle housing

nice that you are keeping the escort, isn't this a mk7? from what year is it? on this forum we call that a mk7 if you didn't change the front of the car.
i hope you''ll find the missing parts soon so that you can finish the escort in time to enjoy the goof weather we're having right now

Well offically it is a MK6 , but only because ford did the MK5 and MK5a haha

got the 2.0l throttle body fitted to the 1.6 manifold tonight , stripped all the "extras" off the engine it now needs cleaning and i cannot decide if i will strip the head off clean and polish the inlet ports

i have just bough this for the 2.0 conversion
