Update

today we made the car fit , made the DEcat pipe , and then welded the hole on the sill , sanded all the paint and filler off the sills , treated the rust , then added the flexi coating ready for painting this week APK tomorrow

Finally the engine runs great

Specifications :-
2.0 zetec engine
Ported and polished head
Black top engine head gasket
ARP conrod bolts
New bearings
New piston rings
New water pump/thermostat
New radiator
1.6 zetec oilpump and sump
New cambelt and tensioners
ProTech stainless steal exhaust manifold
2.0 injectors in 2.0 mondeo inlet manifold
2.0 throttle body and MAF
1.6 flywheel and clutch ( now slipping)
Original gearbox
2.0 non PATS ecu rewired the car to fit
Now running in ,

If your clutch is slipping and are going to change it.... My advice is to upgrade to an mtx-75 gearbox at the same time..... Your axles and gearbox are not going to like the output produced by the 2.0 niek-v has had his share of problems allready. And he had been warned beforehand

thats not something i want to do , i dont like the MTX75 box , if mine goes wrong i will replace it with a RS turbo box then uprate the bearings in there

as for clutch , i will change it when it gets really bad this one is 1 year old , original ford item , BUT with the 1.6 flywheel can i fit a better clutch ?? RS turbo or 1.8 one ???

Rs tufbo box should handle the power without bearing upgrades. I'd go for an rsturbo clutch if i was you and if it would fit but i don't know if the vlutch and flywheel specs for the ib5 and rsturbo box are the same. I would think they are as the rst box is an ib5 as well

What i mean i i will revise the gearbox and put better bearings in

I used to work for ford when i was younger and we used to do competitions over who could strip the IB5 gearbox quickest , my fastest time was 21 mins hahahaha

i now got a slipping clutch , so thats my next job , but using the 1.6 flywheel i need to find out which one is best , the standard one worked for 4000kms , thinking RS turbo of mk4 Diesel version
