I'm a new member and am from Australia. My apologies that I can't speak your language, but I am a huge ford escort fan and own a mk2 escort rs2000 in Australia.

I have searched the UK and Australia for a pair of group 1 brake backing plates, but can't find any anywhere and am hoping someone in the Netherlands would be able to help me?

hey, do you mean the dust plates that allways rust away? Maybe you can try a Capri breaker I believe the rs2000 and the capri are using the same struts. I do not know the size of the group 1 setup but the 2.8i and the 3.0 have bigger brakes standard.

Capri sport sells brake kits for the capri you can try them.

Have you checked with newer models of rear wheel cars that may fit with some slight mods as long as they are rear wheel drive I think you are on the safe side.

Yes, the dust plates are what I'm looking for.

Thank you for your suggestion, but the group 1 plates are different (I think they were also on the group 1 taunus too). They're quite different, but came as an option on the group 1 escort road cars.
